ABOUT PLAINRASTER

A small export tool,
with clear edges.

PlainRaster is built by Jianming Duan for a specific task: taking a static, self-contained vector file and turning it into a PNG with a chosen size and background.

The aim is a short, inspectable workflow. Choose or paste a file, set the output, inspect the PNG and download. File processing happens on your device using the browser’s SVG image renderer and Canvas API. No AI model or remote conversion API is involved.

What you can expect

Supported input has an explicit boundary. Unknown or active features trigger an explanation instead of a claim that every SVG will work. Fonts and browser differences deserve a visual check. The guide includes a small reproducible export and practical ways to simplify unsupported files.

How it is maintained

The core converter and its examples are maintained together so that documentation can be checked against actual behavior. The tool is free to use without an account. Check your downloaded image before using it in a design, print job or publication.
